Question about your Opus Reality membership?

Each owner of the Official Michael Jackson Opus will receive an electronic Opus Reality™ membership card with a unique code that will give you access to a special area of the website. Once logged in you will be able to download and print off a special card that, when held up to a webcam, will reveal interactive footage in an amazing 3D visual experience. This feature will be updated exclusively for Official Michael Jackson Opus owners.

Owners of the Opus will be contacted in January, giving you full details on how to access Opus Reality™ along with your individual membership code.

Is the white glove shown on the website just for show?

No, each copy of the Official Michael Jackson Opus will include a white glove which should be worn whilst viewing your copy to help maintain its mint condition.

We took the decision to include just one white glove purely as a further tribute to Michael Jackson. The single white glove is an iconic and defining symbol of the man and his extraordinary career and we thought it only fitting that we recognised by including just one glove with your Opus.

1. Is the Michael Jackson Opus an 'Official Publication'?

Yes. The Opus process started with Michael Jackson before he passed away and has been sanctioned and approved by his estate.

2. Is it possible for the Official Michael Jackson Opus to be stocked by retailers?

3. When will my Official Michael Jackson Opus be delivered?

We will be dispatching the Official Michael Jackson Opus from 7th December, with customers pre-ordered by September 30 2009 receiving their Opus by Christmas. Due to overwhelming demand, it may not be possible to fulfil orders taken after this date until the New Year.

4. Will the price of the Official Michael Jackson Opus change after the 30th September cut off date?

Opus is delighted to announce an extension to the amazing pre-order offer on The Official Michael Jackson Opus.

The level of demand for The Official Michael Jackson Opus has surpassed all expectations, leading to the decision to extend this very special offer until October 27, 2009, the eve of the global release of the film This Is It. As of the October 28 there will be a significant increase in the price of the Opus.

From 28th October, the Official Michael Jackson Opus will almost double in price and retail for £199/$249/€219 + Postage.

The pre-order offer will end at 23:59:59 PST on October 27th 2009.

5. What is the print run of the Official Michael Jackson Opus?

There is no set print run for the Official Michael Jackson Opus as it has been agreed with Michael Jackson and his estate that the Opus should be accessible to all of his fans.

With Michael being heavily involved in charity work throughout his lifetime, we felt it was appropriate to include a charity aspect to the Official Michael Jackson Opus. With this in mind the first 5 copies will include a signature page that will be signed by some of the biggest artists and entertainers in the music world. These 5 copies will be offered for auction with all the proceeds raised being donated to five charities that Michael has consistently supported.

No. Once the current print run has sold out, there will never be a 2nd edition. This will ensure that your Official Michael Jackson Opus retains its long term value.

We would suggest keeping your Official Michael Jackson Opus in its clamshell case when not being viewed and it should be stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. The leather Opus covering can be wiped clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
